Dickson woven vinyl flooring

Dickson woven vinyl flooring

Dickson (Dickson-Constant) is the oldest textile company in France: its spinning mills in Dunkirk opened in 1836, and from 1840 it wove sail canvas. Dickson has been part of the US group Glen Raven since 1998 and entered the flooring market in 2013. Its woven floors are made in Wasquehal, northern France.

What is woven vinyl

The top layer is woven from polyester yarns coated with PVC, so the floor looks like a textile but is cleaned like vinyl. These floors are designed for heavy-use spaces such as offices, hotels and fitness clubs. Dickson floors are use class 33 and reduce impact sound (Boreal, for example, by 18 dB), and since 2020 the whole range has been free of phthalates and heavy metals.
