Vinyl Flooring Prices: Cost per m² and What Affects It
European-made vinyl flooring costs between €30 and €85 per m² including VAT in Lithuania. That is the catalogue price: when you calculate an estimate with the calculator on our website, a 15% discount applies, so the real price starts from €25.50/m². Below, we explain what makes up the price, how much a finished floor really costs in a 20 m² room, and where you can save without compromising quality. All figures come from our catalogue as of September 2026. Our catalogue includes only products from EU factories in Belgium, Poland, the Netherlands and France. We do not offer Chinese-made vinyl, so its prices are not covered here.
Price per m² by Flooring Type
The Openini catalogue contains 584 vinyl flooring items, 496 of which have a listed price. Half of all items cost between €30 and €40/m².
| Type | Price, €/m² incl. VAT | Items in catalogue | Typical price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rigid SPC with a click-lock system | 30–62 | 201 | €39/m² |
| Flexible glue-down LVT (dryback) | 33–62 | 337 | €49/m² |
| Dickson woven vinyl | 83–84 | 59 | €84/m² |
| Forbo commercial flooring (Allura, Sphera) | on request | 60 | — |
SPC click flooring costs an average of €10/m² less to buy than glue-down LVT. The gap widens once installation is included: click flooring is faster to lay and does not need adhesive. Dickson woven vinyl sits in a higher price bracket. It is a fabric woven from vinyl yarns — a different product with a different price.
Prices by Brand
| Brand | Price, €/m² | Items | Overview |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lalegno | 30–62 | 63 | Belgium. 2.5 mm SPC Dryback from €30, SPC Click, wall panels |
| Arbiton | 32–42 | 107 | Poland. SPC click flooring, the most consistent pricing |
| Moduleo | 33–55 | 263 | Belgium. LVT and SPC, the widest choice of designs |
| Dickson | 83–84 | 59 | France. Woven vinyl |
| Forbo | on request | 60 | The Netherlands. Allura, Sphera — commercial flooring, minimum order applies |
The most affordable items in the catalogue are Lalegno SPC Dryback 2.5 mm (Arezzo, Veneto, Limoncello, Montalcino and Palermo), at €30/m².
What Affects the Price?
Thickness and wear layer. A 2 mm plank and a 5 mm plank from the same collection have different prices, but the key factor is the thickness of the top protective layer: 0.3 mm for residential use and 0.55 mm for commercial premises. For more on use classes, see “Vinyl Flooring: Class 32, 33 or 34?”.
Construction. A rigid SPC core costs more to manufacture but can save on underlay and labour. Flexible LVT is cheaper as a product but requires adhesive and a perfectly level subfloor.
Format. Chevron and herringbone flooring cost €5–10/m² more than straight-laid planks within the same collection: the planks are shorter, and cutting produces more waste.
Country of manufacture. Everything in the catalogue is made in the EU: Moduleo and Lalegno in Belgium, Arbiton in Poland, Forbo in the Netherlands, and Dickson in France. Within the EU, Belgian and French flooring costs more than Polish flooring with comparable specifications, reflecting differences in designs, embossing depth and warranty. Chinese-made vinyl is considerably cheaper, but it is a different product in terms of dimensional stability, composition and warranty; we do not import it.
Availability. We have 61 items in stock in Vilnius, with delivery in 1–3 days. Items ordered in take 2–4 weeks, but the price is the same.
What Else Goes into the Estimate?
The price of the flooring material is only part of the cost of a finished floor. Here is what to include:
| Cost item | SPC click flooring | Glue-down LVT |
|---|---|---|
| Flooring | from €30/m² | from €33/m² |
| Cutting allowance | +5–7% (straight-laid planks), +10–15% (chevron or herringbone) | the same |
| Underlay | pre-attached in some collections; separate underlay priced on request | not required |
| Adhesive | not required | WAKOL D 3360 — €65 per 6 kg, consumption around 300 g/m² → approximately €3.3/m² |
| Installation | from €12/m² | from €12/m²; glue-down installation costs more than click installation |
| Subfloor levelling | depends on the subfloor condition, quoted separately | required if unevenness exceeds 2 mm over 2 m |
| Skirting boards | separate | separate |
For subfloor requirements and installation steps, see “How to Lay Vinyl Flooring”.
Example: A 20 m² Room
Option 1 — SPC click flooring at €39/m² (the catalogue median): flooring 20 m² + 6% allowance = 21.2 m² × €39 = €827; installation from €12/m² = €240. Total from €1,070, excluding skirting boards and subfloor levelling.
Option 2 — glue-down LVT at €49/m²: flooring 21.2 m² × €49 = €1,039; adhesive at approximately €3.3/m² = €66; installation from €12/m², realistically closer to €15/m² — €300. Total from €1,400.
Option 3 — budget SPC at €30/m²: flooring 21.2 × 30 = €636; installation €240. Total from €880.
A 50 m² room using option 1: flooring 53 m² × €39 = €2,067, installation €600, total from €2,670. Volume discounts already apply at 50 m² — see below.

How to Buy for Less
Seven ways to save without switching to flooring of questionable origin:
- Use the calculator on the website. Enter the area in the calculator on the product page and click “Get a quote” – a 15% discount is applied to the catalogue price: €30 → €25.50/m², €49 → €41.65/m². This is the simplest way to save.
- Buy from stock. 61 items available — no waiting and no surcharge for urgency.
- Volume discounts. Lalegno discounts are 7% from 30 m², 10% from 50 m² and 15% from 70 m², calculated automatically in the shopping basket.
- Special offers. Discounts of up to 15% on selected collections.
- Choose click instead of glue-down. The saving is on labour, adhesive and levelling rather than the material itself — €200–300 for a 20 m² room.
- Choose straight-laid planks instead of chevron or herringbone. Save €5–10/m² on the material and reduce waste by 5–8%.
- See a sample before buying. It costs less than choosing the wrong design for 50 m². Samples are available at our showroom at T. Ševčenkos g. 19.
Does “Vinilinė Grindų Danga” Mean the Same Thing?
Yes. “Vinilinės grindys”, “vinilinė grindų danga”, “vinilo danga”, “LVT” and “SPC” are different names within the same flooring category. The differences are in construction (flexible LVT or rigid SPC) and installation method. The prices above cover all these options. To learn what vinyl is and how it differs from laminate, see “What Is Vinyl Flooring?” and “Vinyl Flooring or Laminate?”.
