Uni-colour vs multicolour rod – what is the difference?

The multicolour rod costs more because it combines several colours made for a specific marbled decor – in the Forbo price list it is ~1.5× the uni rod. If the seam will not be very visible or the decor is plain, the uni rod is enough.
