Marmoleum is a brand of natural linoleum. The flooring is made mainly from natural raw materials: linseed oil, wood and limestone flour, natural resins and a jute backing.
Marmoleum is made from natural renewable raw materials, while vinyl flooring is made from PVC. Marmoleum is often chosen for its environmental profile and natural antibacterial properties, vinyl for its water resistance.

Daily maintenance requires only dry or damp cleaning. The flooring is wear resistant and suitable for intensively used spaces.

Marmoleum is made from approximately 97% natural raw materials – linseed oil, wood flour, limestone, pine rosin and jute – with no PVC, phthalates or plasticisers. TVOC emissions after 28 days are ≤ 0.01 mg/m³ (EN 16516), reaction to fire is Cfl-s1 and use classes are 23 / 34 / 43. Labels: Der Blaue Engel, Allergy UK, Eurofins Indoor Air Comfort Gold, M1, French A+ and an EPD to EN 15804.
