Care products are chosen by the finish, not by what the floor cost. Oiled and lacquered floors are maintained differently and the products are not interchangeable: oil on lacquer stays as a sticky film, while an ordinary cleaner slowly dries out an oiled surface.
For oiled floors — Boen Floor Soap for routine washing, and Boen Natural Oil (0.75 and 2.5 l, plus a white version) to renew the oil layer roughly once a year in busy areas. Boen Freshen Up (clear, white, dark) revives the colour between full oilings. Ready-made care sets for clear and white oiled floors are in the range too, along with a 250 mm roller for applying oil.
For lacquered floors — Boen Parquet Cleaner for washing and Boen Polish for Live Matt surfaces, which restores an even matt sheen and adds a thin protective layer.
What never to do: steam cleaners, standing water, and abrasive or acidic products — all three damage lacquer and oil alike. If damage has already happened, see the repair kits.
