BOEN Gent — the same floor at a lower price

Gent is not a separate collection — it is a different grading of the same product. Same BOEN factory, same 3,5 mm oak wear layer, same construction, same finishes, same locking system. What differs is timber selection and pack size.

The price gap runs from 16 % to 33 %. Oak Andante Gent, for example, sits at roughly €58/m² against about €79/m² for its direct standard equivalent — a 26 % difference with no compromise on wear layer thickness.

Where the difference shows: Gent boards carry more knots and stronger colour variation, with a looser timber selection. In a restrained, minimal interior that is noticeable; in a natural, lively one it usually is not — and for some projects it is exactly what is wanted.

Where there is no difference at all: thickness, wear layer, refinishing potential, warranty, suitability for underfloor heating. Technically it is the same floor.
